Aubie Dorm Reviews at Auburn

I lived in Aubie hall for two years. At the time it was the dorm in the village used for upper class men and honors students. As an engineering student this dorm was located close to the engineering school and made the walk to class short. The dorm gives four people their own bedroom but there is only two bathrooms so they are shared between two people. The living room has plenty of room and the kitchen area provides a sink, refrigerator, and microwave along with counter space and cupboards. To use a stove ,however, students need to go to the communal kitchen on the bottom floor. Security is good with student ids acting as a key-card for the main doors and the doors on each floor. The dorm room main door and bedrooms are open by a key. There is an RA on each floor and they can be great. My freshmen year my RA planned group meetings, movie/game nights, and groups to walk to events/sports together. Overall, Aubie hall was a good place to live.

Living in Aubie Hall was one of the best decisions I made my freshmen year. I met a ton of my friends, and the RA's were always extremely polite and helpful. I rarely had maintenance issues. My only complaint was that it did get loud on the weekends because it was close to the fraternity houses.
