My experience was quite amazing! I loved the location as it was right next to Barnard Hall which had the dining hall, so when it would snow or get cold, I didn’t have to walk far to get food. Also, the dorms in Sulzberger Hall have air conditioning, which is a huge benefit.

Barnard is a "dry" campus so at the time it felt like home. We would go out and party at bars and other places, but it was always a really quiet, comforting place to live. It was peaceful and gave me the rest and quiet I needed to prepare for the next day of school.

Sulz Hall is definitely the best freshman dorm, it has the AC! Be careful though if you are in the Reid side of Sulz-Reid then you won’t have AC. The elevators are also great, although very busy. And all freshman dorms are connected!
