It was great. There was no mess hall there but the extra curricular were on point. The dorms were furnished and layed in an apartment style setting. The mailboxes were right below us which proved good for people creeping around campus.

I enjoyed living in Oaks D because of it's proximity to the arts department buildings and abundance of parking. I lived in a 4-person, 2-room apartment, and enjoyed the extra space that the shared living room and kitchen granted me and my roommates. The closets were a bit small for two people, but I think the in-room laundry units and full kitchen more than made up for that inconvenience. I lived on the first floor so I could hear the sounds of cars and people making noises outside sometimes, but because it's on the edge of campus, there isn't that much noise disturbance. Overall, I think Oaks D is a great place to live, particularly for musical theatre, acting, theatrical design, dance, and arts majors who want to live close to their classes.
