McNeil Hall Dorm Reviews at NC A&T

I love living in McNeil. I had my own room and shared my bathroom with only one other suite mate. The common area was big enough for my friends to come by. I had privacy because we were behind a locked door. I would recommend McNeil to all incoming freshman.

I moved from McCain Hall to McNeil Hall in my first semester. I was moved into a suite with one other person. The directors were extremely nice and helpful. The location is almost in the middle of campus, it's very easy to navigate around campus.

A very great community occupied exclusively by honor students. No communal showers which is always a plus. The main issue when I stayed there was sometimes the hallways would reek of weed smoke. Luckily the smell didn't get into the rooms.

McNeil’s location is in the center of campus which is great considering that the post office, cafeteria, and student center are so close. The staff of McNeil are very kind and helpful and I have never had any problems with this dormitory.

I am a current student at A&T in my freshman year. The first dorm that I resided in was cooper hall. When I was dissatisfied with cooper hall I decided I would like to stay in McNeil. With the help of McNeil hall staff and others, I was able to make a smooth transition. McNeil hall has a great location on campus as it is strategically placed directly in the middle of it. The halls are always kept clean and the building brings comfort and security to you. I would recommend staying in this hall to anyone planning on attending A&T.

I would describe my experience as very well. It is a very nice dorm, located towards the center of campus in a great location. The dorm is kept clean and fairly quiet and I like my dorm a lot. Overall 9/10.

Aggie Villages is in the best location on campus in my opinion. It is super close to the student center, to the student health center, to the academic classroom building, and it’s not too far from Williams dining hall. And McNeil is special because it is the closest building to the mail center. The noise level wasn’t bad. I lived on the 3rd floor and there was only the occasional loud music. The staff were very nice, just hard to find sometimes, and my shower head has a missing piece but maintenance came to fix it after awhile. There are also 2 study rooms on every floor, and I used these a lot.

It is a Co-ed dorm. It has clean, nice bright study and common areas. The washer and dryers are on the 3rd floor. The Kitchen is on the ground floor. It has secured access that uses a student ID card swipe.
