I stayed in Whitman Hall as a sophomore. This is technically a dry dorm because first-years live here as well. This kept the hall relatively quiet and cleaner than most dorms. The maintenance staff was timely and thorough when cleaning the restrooms. The location is okay. it is near lot B, so if your car is parked there the walk is quick. It is also near the student center. It is further to most classrooms and quite far from the gym. However, everything is within walking distance. There are shared kitchens in Whitman, which would have been nice if people did not misuse them resulting in the gas being shut off. I think it is a good dorm for first-year students and more reserved upperclassmen. If you want a more roudy social life, look into Deat-Eaton instead.
