Maple Hill South Dorm Reviews at University of Arkansas

It was overall solid with great people and a nice chill atmosphere easy to adjust to. I was able to get lots of work done in the common rooms and could meet lots of people that lived just down the hall with my roommates.

Living in Maple South was an experience I'll never forget. Not even being cliche. It was an environment that encouraged students to thrive to the best of their ability. I felt like I made a home in the Maple community and I am so thankful to have lived there.

Maple Hill South is the best out of all the Maple dorms. They could be a little closer to campus, but it is still nice. It is very clean and looks nice all the time. I can't common on the RA's because they change every year, but let's hope they are different from when I was there in 2019-2020!

Lived there during COVID so many of the usual student activities were limited, but overall great place to be as incoming Freshman. Close proximity to cam pus for classes, decent furniture quality, lots of group gathering/study rooms.

Maple Hill South is located closely to a majority of my classes with parking options that are satisfactory. I have access to a number of common areas that allow an alternative location to do homework and study. I do wish there were more options a kitchen area and better laundry rooms. There are only 2 washers/dryers in my laundry room and that can cause issues. However, I have had no issues with laundry being mistreated so long you take care of it in a timely manner. The washers do tend to trap hair and other things of that sort.

I enjoyed my experience. We stayed in the loft so that was really nice, we had a big common room loft. Sharing the space with four girls was pretty hectic, but it was nicer than other doors I am sure. Having our own bathroom was very nice.

It was super clean and well kept. The one downside to living in this dorm is that people generally stay inside their room so it's kind of difficult to get to know others on your floor. RAs will offer activities to help residents connect.

It's been absolutely amazing!!!! Very social, yet it is very easy to concentrate. The common areas are absolutely amazing. I do all my homework in there, and people are very respective of those doing homeworking in a common area. Everything else is as expected. Very clean as well.
