Boreman South Dorm Reviews at West Virginia

While the location was convenient and the staff polite, overall, the dorms were poorly maintained, with mold in the bathrooms and no air conditioning. In addition, there were a lot of loud parties and nightlife that were disruptive to a peaceful learning environment.

There is no ac and it's anything but a peaceful setting. The location is prime but that's it. I had a cleaning lady who tried stealing from me right in front of me. Sleep is not guaranteed there. I'd go anywhere else besides dadisman.

I loved my experience because of my suitmates, and my RA. The location was so close to the mountainlair, and high street (lots of food options). I disliked that I had cockroaches in the stairwell and that we had to deal with no air conditioning.

I love the location, but being on Main Street, it is very loud. Other residents are also very loud, and they don't care much about people around them. I have never needed the maintenance, but I have heard wonderful things about them. My RA is wonderful and she really shows that she cares. Boreman South also does fun activities every once in a while, which is super fun!

The location is perfect if you are on the downtown campus! This dorm is not far from the downtown buildings that house the classrooms, or then downtown hub called the Mountain Lair. It is also a short distance away from High Street, which has a variety of restaurants and shops. This section of Boreman is coed, so it was nice to get to meet males and females, as the other section of Boreman is female only (boreman north).

Boreman south is in the perfect place for Downtown Campus. Everything is within walking distance which is nice. Everyone there is pretty chill and easy going. Boreman South is very inviting to others. The only downside to Boreman South is there lack of ac in the building. It can get very hot in the rooms especially if you live with 2 or 3 other people.

I personally loved Boreman South. It offers the most space and privacy out of all of the dorms at WVU. It’s also right across the street from the main hub on campus, as well as the library, so the location is perfect.
