COMPLEX C AND COMPLEX D - FEMALE Dorm Reviews at Alcorn

I resided at complex D and I liked it. It’s like a mini apartment! The only thing I didn’t like is when the fire alarm was pulled on purpose and it would take almost 30 minutes to an hour for campus police to turn it off. I love the girls and how diverse my hbcu is!

my experience at the complex c dorm was okay. it was better than the other female dorms on campus. we had a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. we also had a small sitting area and restroom. our rooms weren’t that big our beds are like 2 shoulder lengths apart from our roommates & we had our own closets.

I recommend that you find roommates who you can get along with. I lived with someone I didn’t get along with for a whole year and it was the worst. Just make sure you keep up with everything and become cool with the RAs.

My stay in Complex C has been a variety of emotions, I have been very surprised by the cleanness of the dorm. The housing authority is very professional and very concerned about the safety of the resident of C. Although, I would have expected a bigger suit, it turned out to be very comforable living.

I loved this dorm, everyone was friendly and it was kept up well. Always welcoming. Loved the dorm, it was quiet for the most part. Beautiful campus, I would recommend others to this school, a great experience to witness.

I loved living in the new dorms. The common area had comfortable space, The laundry room was always clean and most machines worked, the study rooms were a great thing to take a vantage of when I would need a quiet space to do my homework. The staff for the residential hall were very interactive with its residence. They held numerous events for us to work together as young women living together and get to know each other. The bathrooms race was very large and I appreciate that because I share that same space with three other women.

It was mostly pleasant. The staff is very nice and understanding. Sometimes there are noise in the dorms but it is never too bad. The whole dorm overall is very great and warming. The setting of the rooms are very comfortable.

I loved my experience. The RA’s were very nice and the RD was understanding. It was like a family there. They put birthdays up on the bulletin and we had floor meetings to be more acquainted with each other . There were room checks as well.
