Gelston Hall Dorm Reviews at Alma

I enjoyed the location, since it was centrally located, and close to most places on campus. It was hard to have a full experience due to covid, but the experience I had was fairly good. The halls are pretty narrow, so when there is noise it is pretty prevalent. Being on the third floor was nice though, because there was no noise on my ceiling, and it is just one hallway. The bathrooms and hallways weren't cleaned very frequently, which was more of a concern especially with covid.

Gelston Hall is one of the louder halls if we're comparing it with the other freshman dorm, which is Bruske Hall. Overall, this hall is pretty nice. It has Joe's Place which you can access without going outside, due to it being connected to the building. It's also close to the library, other main campus buildings and the parking lot.

Gelston hall is a great Freshman hall. It is in close proximity to everything and the dorms are very nice. The lobby is nice as well and gives you a fun place to hang out with your friends. I have a corner room and those rooms are slightly bigger than the other rooms. Overall, my experience has been amazing and I would live in this dorm next year if I could!

Living at Gelston Hall is pretty nice. It's pretty close to most of my classes and close to the main dining area. Staff routinely come to clean the common areas and thee bathrooms to maintain cleanliness and overall safety at the college.
