Belk Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

Lived there for a year and got harassed the second semester. The rooms are small and the air conditioning broke for a while, leaving us in high 70s to mid 80s. The staff was nice and they had many social events for people to get to know others in their building

Belk Hall is newly built, so the amenities were new along with the common spaces. However the dorm has a sink in the room. It can be really useful, but its super awkward in the room. Especially when it comes to making the space useful for yourself and roommate.

I am a first-year student at UNCW and during the de-densifying process due to COVID-19, I decided to continue my academics at home for the remainder of the semester. For the time that I lived on campus, I was very pleased with the Belk dorm. Even though it is one of the older dorms on campus, it is still very well maintained. I am excited to go back for the Spring semester in 2021.
