Cannon Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

Move in day was a hassle. Knew my room would be small but it is simple to small for two people. Beds are not stable so you feel like you could fall at any small movement, and ceilings are not tall enough I have hit my over 20 times already.

Cannon Hall is a nice place to live, although it is a common bath. This took time getting used to but I had a nice view from my dorm to help make up for it. The other residents on my floor were nice and my Resident Assistant planned fun activities for us all to get to know one another. While I had to walk up a hill to get to my classes, as soon as I got to the top I was right in the middle of campus which made getting to classes easier and a shorter walk.

The dorm overall is very clean, and all of the staff is friendly. I wish the bathrooms had more space for showers, but it is not a terrible inconvenience. There is AC so that is always a plus, and it is located on the good side of campus. The laundry room rarely has any issues, however the vending machines tend to break down a lot. The actual size of the room is pretty small, and there is no sink in the rooms which sadly is very annoying.

The floors and RA's like to keep everyone included. We have AC, laundry room, Kitchen, and it is two people per room. We are near the student union and main dining hall on campus. It is located lower down the hill so sometimes that can be tough to walk up.
