East Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

East Hall overall was decent. I lived on the subfloor and the maintenance varies from year to year, based on the RA. There is no air condition because it is one of the oldest dorms on campus, however, it is one of the largest dorms that have the biggest rooms. I would live there again!

Honestly, I really enjoyed staying at East Hall. It was hard at first due to the lack of A/C but throughout the semester it started getting colder at night so we would just turn on the heaters and enjoy the night.

Though COVID has ruined a lot of my freshman experience in a residence hall, everyone I've met has been beyond awesome. I like where it is. The only downside to East hall is that there's only heat, so when it gets hot, it can become quite annoying sweating in your room.

Overall, I met some of my best friends in East Hall, and had a wonderful time there. It is right inside of campus, and it was very easy to walk to classes. The only things I had an issue with were the cleanliness and the amount of times I had to file a noise complaint to our Resident Assistant.
