Living Learning Center (LLC) Dorm Reviews at App State

Generally it was ideal for the dorm experience. The kitchens were clean and bathrooms were shared between you and 3 other people. staff was accountable and cool. A pretty steep walk to campus but I lived.

The LLC is a great dorm to live in. It is suite style, so you only have to share a bathroom with 3 people. You have a roommate, and 2 suite mates, and the rooms are connected by the bathroom. The only thing I didn't like about the L is that it was pretty far away from central campus and it's on a giant hill so you have to walk up a bunch of stairs every time you come back to the dorm.

The community and staff are amazing! it is a little farther from the main campus than preferred, however, the walk is nice and the stairs eliminate the need to go to the gym! The bathroom checks are a little too harsh (dust behind the toilet, fingerprints on the mirror, etc) however it helps to ensure all members of the suite are keeping up with their portion of their cleaning.

It was great! The hike up to it is the worst part by far, but after a few weeks you get used to it and learn the shortcuts. The suite style bathrooms are the best part about living there; sharing a bathroom with three other people is worth the climb up the hill :)
