Summit Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

It's a great central location for me. It's close to classes, food, Student Union, library. It's also well maintained. If I don't feel like going out, I can just look out my window onto Sanford Mall and people watch.

I have really enjoyed living in Summit Hall this year on campus. The building itself is beautiful and the location is ideal for being able to easily access resources such as the student union and many surrounding class buildings.

Being in Summit Hall during covid has been an experience, but it has not been a bad one. I have not had a lot of chances to sit in the common areas as they are closed. I love the location because it is right in the center of campus. It is also suite style which is very convenient.

I loved summit because it was a peaceful environment. I loved the common area because it was a great place to study by myself or with friends instead of having to go to the library in the cold weather.

Summit Hall was the best dorm I stayed in at Appalachian State! It is suite-style so you only share a bathroom with three other people and you get to choose who your suitemates are. The rooms are fairly large and the common areas/study rooms on each floor are good places to hang out and get work done. The only downside was that you can't control the thermostats.

I love this dorm! Truly the best freshman dorm this year. Suite style which was amazing, I recommend trying to room with 3 other girls/guys you know! super convenient central location, right next to the student union and a quick walk from anything.

Summit Hall has relatively large dorm rooms and allows for more optimal space for students. Additionally, it is located in the heart of campus, which makes it easier to reach practically any building on campus.
