🧐 What do students think about the dorms at University of Arizona?

It was a very standard dorm style, but we did not run into many issues. If needed assistance, the RA or maintenance is very on top of it. The RA's can be lenient if you are nice and respect them. Certain doors close after 8pm which is understandable for security across campus but can be annoying when the late night door is the farthest away from your room. more

La Aldea Graduate Housing

La Aldea is a great place to live on the UA campus. It is centrally located to everything including the lauded University Ave. There are bars, restaurants, nature trails, bike trails, a world class observatory, movie theaters and more within 1/2 mile of the location. The staff is friendly and the maintenance team is top notch. OH, and did I mention free utilities and laundry service. You can't beat that! more

The Junction at Iron Horse

When I first moved in nothing was clean and it took them forever too come fix it. I had to wait a week past move in date yet still had to pay normal rent for that month. The staff do not care about any problems you may have and they only want your money. I was charged $200 to move apartments because my last roommates were crazy and scary. They also told me I was going to be charged for damages in the last apartment building that were not my doing. more

The staff did a wonderful job with what they were given, however many of the residents had never lived on their own, and were used to someone else cleaning up their messes. The building itself is quite old and the rooms can really only be set up one way, but it's not a bad first dorm. more

Great experience. It is a quiet and clean dorm. I feel safe because the secured entrances and exits into the dorm. A resident must have a key to get in. The Honors parking lot could use security. There has been a lot of stolen and vandalized cars in the parking garage more

Palm Shadows Apartments

It is near campus, so, it facilitates me to commute. Staffs are very nice. But, there was one thing annoying happened . one time I contacted to the owner about the late fee for a month explaining that I had received from my family very late since my country has economically collapsed,so, I asked them to wave late fee which was valuable for me. However, they didn’t accept my request and charged me for 70$. more

The Maricopa Residence Hall is an all girls dorm that has a very historic look to it the common area located on the first floor near the lobby is a beautiful place to sit and talk with friends with beautiful chandeliers and an even more astonishing outside area it is a great place to live and it is fairly quiete. more

I really enjoy the decorations and overall aesthetic of the Gila dorms. While it is an older building, it is up to date with appliances and features. I also really enjoy having a sink in my room, and I find that there is never any trouble finding open showers/stalls in the bathrooms. more

Everyone was super great at this dorm. It was right next to my classes and right next to the science engineering library so it was easy to go next door to study. The dorm isn't the newest and shiniest but it was great to live there and was never dirty, loud, or unsafe. I liked living there. more

It's a college dorm. It was actually fun. Lots of energy and stuff going on. It's nice to have a car with A/C, but it is highly walkable to classes if you don't mind the heat. (You wouldn't be in Arizona otherwise?) Cleanliness, well, this is where you learn to live with all kinds of people, right? more

I enjoyed living at the Lofts. I plan to go back in January. I like that I can cook my own meals and that it's only a 10 minute walk from all my classes. I had a roommate last semester and it wasn't a good experience because she was messy. However; I plan on living alone when I go back. more

The Ledges at West Campus

It was a decent place to live. I had my own living space with 3 others in the same townhouse. I shared a bathroom with one other person and they can help find roommates if you dont have any. The only thing I didn't like is that they charged me to fix the curtains and oven, despite the fact that they were already half broken when I moved in. Despite that the place was nice and decently priced. more
