The Barrett College dorms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff decorate the halls each semester to brighten up the dorm and make everyone feel welcome. The dorm itself is spacious with clean well functioning private restrooms within each room. more

Hassayampa

It is nice that Hassayampa is really close to campus, so it's hard to be laate to classes if you are walking from the dorm rooms. A major con is sharing a wall with the partiers of the school, since the dorm is for business majors. more

While Hassay can be considered the ghetto. The community and connections you build are worth it. You get along great with neighbors on every floor. People are so friendly. The CA’s are great as well. It’s a welcoming environment. more

Sonora Center

The dorm having a living room was so nice! It helped with studying and just getting out of the tiny rooms. All other dorms I visited were much smaller and almost prisonlike, but sonora was like apartments! It was pretty quiet most of the time, nothing really happened. The laundry rooms were okay but always had so much trash. Overall 3.5/5 stars. more

Tooker House

I had a great time at Tooker. It was one of the best dorms on campus in my opinion.There were a lot of people with similar majors so it was easy to find people in your class or get homework help. And the Rash were really good too. more

West Hayden Hall

It is definitely an old school dorm. Two people to a room, and bathrooms down the hall, rather than the current style of suites with their own bathroom. I think it makes it much easier to be social with other people in the dorm and make friends though. more

Best Hall C

Best Hall C, has been a good experience. Communal bathrooms aren't always the best, but in my opinion Best Hall has the best community. You don't have to worry about music blasting at odd hours of the night, or anything weird happening. This is from my experience. more

Palo Verde East

Unfortunately, I do not have a photo but, the bathrooms in the dorms were collecting mold on the ceilings, even after cleaning the carpet it was full of dust and dirt. My roommate and I had a mold test done along with many other students due to constantly being sick and feeling sick throughout the whole year. The elevators also broke almost once a week. The common areas were old and not enjoyable to use. This is one of the oldest dorm buildings on campus and should be torn down. A building that causes students to be sick all year should no longer be liveable. more

Adelphi Commons

I have lived on campus for two and half months now. The Adelphi Commons have been here for a while, so the test of time shows. Overall, the dorms are not bad. The bathrooms are a little dated and the shower is kind of awkward. The dorms are in a complex each separated in their own courtyard set up. The complex has its own fencing with keycard gates to prevent strangers coming and going in the safe space. The RAs are friendly and have provide a number of experiences for those living in the dorms to get to know each other. more

Irish Hall

My experience was rough as a student staff member, but overall it improved as the semester continued. I would recommend Best Hall or Hayden Hall to someone else living in Arcadia. Though Irish is the only upper division option. more

Las Casas Residential Hall

It's aging, and it shows. That being said, out of all of the dorms that ASU currently offers, Las Casas is one of the best. You get a private bedroom and a kitchen in the suite (as opposed to having to share with the entire building), and when stuff does deteriorate, the maintenance workers are usually very efficient about helping you out. more

Everyone here is super friendly and the rooms are really clean. Only annoying this is that if you are in an even numbered room, you are right along the street so it is hard to sleep with all these loud cars going by. more

ASU Gordon Commons

Although the Downtown Phoenix campus is pretty small, the Gordon Commons provide a fantastic dorm experience and are central to downtown. I was able to walk everywhere, find a close and simple job, have meals provided, and meet so many new people. There are two types of dorms, one with two bedrooms and one where you share a bedroom with your roommate, but both are pretty nice and have 1 bathroom. There is plenty of room, and all of the staff is extremely helpful. more

Barrett Complex - Sage North

Poor community spaces and hot outdoor, dark, and depressing hallways. I had a room that didn't have an outside window, which meant no direct sunlight. There was always a dark yellow tinge in my room, and a terrible smell was coming from the bathroom toilet even when I used Febreze 5 times a day. The "rooftop garden" is very depressing, nothing very "garden" about it. more

I really like the dorms for the most part. The CA's are really nice and relaxed, the people are nice, and everyone respects eachother's cleanliness and noise for the most part. I haven't had any issues with anything in particular while living here. more

The District on Apache

It is beautiful the rooms are so well furnished and we get taken care of very well. Every week they have stuff catered to the downstairs lobby where me and my friends can use that instead of going to buy dinner and spend more money on top of rent more

Manzanita Hall

My experience at Manza was pretty good but not the best. The staff were helpful especially maintenance. The only bad thing that I would have to mention is that the fire alarms will go off like 3 times a week. more

McClintock Hall Honors Dorm

When I resided there in 1991, the dorm walls were paper thin, and there were roaches. Dust was thick. It was not well built. However, I made the best of it, and focused on its good qualities: A television in the common area, a stove and oven, and laundry facilities. The location also was great. more
