Barrett Complex - Sage North Dorm Reviews at ASU

Poor community spaces and hot outdoor, dark, and depressing hallways. I had a room that didn't have an outside window, which meant no direct sunlight. There was always a dark yellow tinge in my room, and a terrible smell was coming from the bathroom toilet even when I used Febreze 5 times a day. The "rooftop garden" is very depressing, nothing very "garden" about it.

I received an AHA compatible room on the building's interior, and the layout was pretty different from what I was expecting from what I was told on the housing website. Without a real outside window, I really missed having any direct sunlight come into the room. I liked the idea of living in a sustainable dorm, but the outdoor hallways were pretty dark and depressing, and there was always a terrible smell coming from the bathroom that all the breeze in the world could not get rid of. I was really looking forward to finding a sense of community at my dorm, and maybe it was all due to Covid, but I never spoke to a single person on my floor.
