Sonora Center Dorm Reviews at ASU

The dorm having a living room was so nice! It helped with studying and just getting out of the tiny rooms. All other dorms I visited were much smaller and almost prisonlike, but sonora was like apartments! It was pretty quiet most of the time, nothing really happened. The laundry rooms were okay but always had so much trash. Overall 3.5/5 stars.

As a current Sonora Center resident, I can say the dorms are a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all residents living in the area. The dorm itself is spacious and the all of the areas are cleaned and inspected before use. The move-in process in efficient and you barely have to move anything yourself. They have a crew ready for you before you arrive and they take everything down from your car without you having to life a finger. There are little to zero problems with the dorms, all of the outlets work and if there were a problem, the maintenance crew gets it fixed within two to three days. Overall the dorm and the experience is completely worth it and I recommend it to anyone looking to dorm at ASU in Tempe.

I really like it here my dorm mates and neighbors are all very polite and considerate of any noise coming from any room. I also normally feel safe in my dorm complex whether is be at night or in day time.

It is bigger than expected for a college dorm. Neighbors are nice and quiet as well. The common room is also very nice in the building. The bathroom is a little smaller then needed for girls, but we all made it work and in the end always kept it clean.

Towards the beginning of the year, our AC caused our bathroom to flood due to the extreme heat. After that I had no problems and it was a great experience. Though it was a dorm room, it almost felt like an apartment with the privacy and security the building had.

My freshman year at Senora was a good year packed with fun experiences. Senora dorms felt like two bedroom apartments. They are a bit out dated, but it wasn’t bad. You’ll have some of the best RA’s who will get you up, active and ready to meet other freshman just like yourself. The best part at Senora is the grass court yard. You can do yoga outside, your homework or simply just chill and listen to your music.

My experience in Sonora Center has been pretty good over all. The residence hall is pretty spread out and has great common areas. I love that we have our own bathroom in our hall. I do believe the security can be a little bit more strict. But I do feel safe and comfy!
