Barrett is a really nice dorm, it has a great historical feel with modern amenities. The AC is good and the rooms are a great size! The lounges are great for both socializing and studying. The outside areas are great places to hang out.

I lived in the Barrett dorms from Fall 2018-Spring 2019. It was clean, the staff held many fun events, and the dining experience was fantastic. The only downfall was that it is on the southeast side of campus, away from most classrooms. I got lots of exercise by living there because I had to walk 20-30 minutes to my classes. Overall, I do not regret living there, it was a great year of my life.

Great dorm for junior and seniors! Not a far walk form construction if your work station is there. Plenty of parking for students close by; however, it is the farthest from the caf and the Jones building. All in all the dorm is great since itβs the newest build for the guys.

Barrett Hall is the senior dormitory at College of the Ozarks and is the best dorm on campus. Although everything else about Barrett is perfectly fine for a college senior, the amount of space given to students is lacking. The dorm rooms in Barrett Hall are only 19 feet by 12.5 feet, and are shared by 2 students. The bathrooms consist of 1 toilet, 1 shower, and 2 sinks shared by 4 students. Barrett Hall has the largest dorms available on campus, so any larger housing would have to be found in an off campus apartment. Students must also apply to be able to live off campus. So, even though Barrett Hall is the best dorm at college of the Ozarks, another dorm for upperclassmen that provides a larger living space for students would make for much better resident life.
