McDonald Hall Dorm Reviews at BGSU

I enjoy Mcdonald Hall, the front desk staff has always been nice and totally understanding of the times I've locked myself out of my dorm, which has happened more times than I would like to admit, but it happens

McDonald Hall is the perfect location for me. It is incredibly close to all of my classroom building and it is maybe a two minute walk to a dining hall and market. Though at time the dorm can be loud, especially during football season, everyone is very respectful to others and tend to quiet down before midnight. The RAs are also very nice and helpful; I feel comfortable going to my RA with any questions that I have.

The dormitory was enjoyable overall the bathrooms would just get very unpleasant but that was more so to do with the residents rather than the janitorial staff. Therefore, I would definitely recommend McDonald hall because compared to some of the other options of fairs way better.

McDonald Hall, lovingly referred to as "Mac," is directly next to a dinning hall and is close to the student union. The location is one of the largest perks of Mac, in addition to it being on of the cheapest options BGSU has. There are many learning community options in Mac and the community bathrooms are almost never busy. I would highly recommend Mac!

I enjoyed how quiet my neighbors were and had zero issues with my first semester there. Most of the students are freshmen, so if you’re more social than me you could make a few friends. My RA’s in my hallway were great and the whole experience was great.
