I loved living in Maine Hall my freshman year. It was cozy, intimate, and the central location was perfect during my first year on campus. I was steps away from Moulton Dining, Smith Union, and the Buck Center.

I loved staying in one of the first year bricks for my first year, despite all the craziness of 2020. I felt I got as close as I could to the βauthenticβ college experience as I could. I was also lucky to have so many friends so close by living on the floors below me. The common areas were really wonderful places for all of us to socialize and eat together, safely, and the general layout of the dorm was really accessible. I liked having two staircases for easy access to both doors and to the dorms of other friends. It was really clean and pretty quiet and the staff were always so wonderful and sweet. I loved my first year at Maine Hall!!

The pandemic has made my experience hard but the suite offers space outside of my room to spread out and relax with one or two friends (masked and distances of course). The common areas are kept very clean and inviting and the bathrooms are Always clean.
