North Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Ball State

It's been such an inviting place. I've made a ton of friends and bonded over movies I've watched in the common area. My RA has been a big help in figuring out anything and everything about living away from home.

Overall pretty good, my dorm room is pretty spacious and the bathrooms are nice and semi-private. I'm not too picky about noise or anything but there has been some loud nights. The halls are pretty clean and the dorm rooms have wooden floors instead of tile like some from other colleges. Not bad at all.

I’ve had a great experience at North. The staff is great and it’s fairly quiet. It is a nice building and I’ve met cool people there. The study rooms are great for studying. My only complaint is how thin the walls can be but I’m sure every dorm has that experience.

North Residence Hall was a great dorm to stay in. The front staff is very helpful and friendly. The janitors are amazing at keeping everything clean and are extremely friendly. It was common to talk to the janitors and just see how they were doing. The study rooms were perfect for hanging out with friends or holding group study sessions. It was normally pretty quiet but it's not uncommon to hear people having fun with friends or getting excited when watching sports. During finals, the hall was on a 24 hour quiet schedule with a couple hour breaks throughout the day.

North Hall is honestly one of the best dorms you can stay at. It is a friendly environment, and it is always clean. I would not change anything about these dorms, and I feel like anyone who lives here will enjoy it just as much.
