Woodworth Complex Dorm Reviews at Ball State

I've only been in the dorms for a short amount of time, I will say it has been an experience but a great one, I've really enjoyed getting to know people that not only live around me but have similar major. I've found the building itself really resourceful to nursing students it's just really nice.

The furniture is old and needs replaced. You could not bunk the beds because the ceilings were too low. The drawers on the dressers were constantly sticking. While my room did not have an issue, many of the students around me had to move out of their rooms related to issues with mold.

I lived at Woodworth my freshman year. The location was extremely convenient considering the location of my classes. I enjoyed having a dining hall in my building. Not having a/c was annoyiing at times, but overall I wouldn't discourage someone from living aat woodworth.

I spent most of my time in my dorm and I liked it well enough. I'd say the dormitory part of the building is pretty quiet except maybe on the weekends, but that makes sense. Woodworth is also a dining hall though (food's good), so obviously it can get pretty loud downstairs, especially around 3 o'clock. The bathrooms are OK it's just the students sometimes aren't the most sanitary people but it's usually cleaned up by the next day., From what I can tell, pretty much all of the staff at Woodward IS pretty chill.

The dorm is split up between four floors, the first being common space and a dining hall, the second floor which is called the first floor is a the men's floor or dorms. The second and third floors are the women's dorms. I lived on the third floor of the building( this building's dorms aren't air conditioned). With a fan in the window and one in my room it was completely bearable after the august heat died down.My roommate and I kept our window open in the room even in the winter due to the lack of air flow in the room. the bathrooms are communal and shared between two halls. A hall is really like three conjoining hallways) The bathrooms aren't horrible, but don't expect much privacy. This building is the nursing llc, so if you are a nursing student living here is very convenient for studying and meeting people who share your major. I overall enjoyed my dorm and my roommate there.

Woodworth was rarely ever quiet, the bathrooms were filthy during the day. The only “common area” was the dining hall. There is also no air conditioning. There were a few issues with safety with some of the students in the complex. A few students in our complex had issues with sexual harassment.

I liked living in Woodworth Complex, even though it had minor problems. There was no AC so it got pretty hot and I think that made the complex smell a bit. If I ever had company they always complained about the smell there. I don't think the complex was dirty but the other people there were. But the staff would help us residents with our problems the best they could, some staff members had attitudes but it was bare-able. The food there was great and Woodworth is kind of in the middle of everything so getting to class on time was never a problem. I would live in Woodworth again.

I have loved living at Woodworth Complex my two years living on campus! They clean the bathrooms every single day so they are always clean. The staff is very helpful, especially with freshmen. There is a dining hall in Woodworth, so that makes it very convenient.

Woodworth has a very nice dining hall. Location is nice and close to most things on campus. I’ve enjoyed my time so far at woodworth hall and would recommend if for others! Food is great and staff is very helpful and on duty for most of the whole time.

It is not the nicest dorm on campus, but it is one of the cheapest! I enjoy living at Woodworth. The people are friendly, the dorms are not too small, and the maintenance keeps the building clean! There are kitchens, sink rooms with ice machines, and study lounges on every floor.

If this is your LLC, I highly recommend being here for at least one year. It’s a great place to start and helps you be appreciative for what they give you. It’s amazing that there is food right downstairs too, so you don’t have to go far if you’re just wanting something to snack on. The staff is incredibly kind and talkative as well.

My experience at Woodworth Complex was amazing. I went on a college visit and my tour girl showed me the cafeteria, bathrooms, dorm rooms, and etc. I had a great experience here and my roomate and I are going to love living in this complex.

It is overall nice except for the fact that the walls are so extremely thin and you can hear almost everything. Also the showers are so small and uncomfortable to use it is so annoying I have to use a friends shower in there dorm since it has more space and way nicer.

Woodworth was my very first dorm experience. It was honestly awesome, and there are not many things I can complain about. I had a roommate but only for a short time. My R.A. is very nice and super friendly! When the holidays approached, my RA left candy outside her door for the residents in my hall. The food at Woodworth is amazing and most of the staff members are very kind and helpful! The only major downside to this dorm, is that there isn't any air conditioning in the rooms. In the summer, it gets really hot, but you have to have a doctor's note (and pay) to get a window unit installed for AC.

Woodworth is a great dorm for the health professions because it is right across the street from the health building for classes. However, when the weather is still warm, the dorm rooms are not air conditioned so it is very uncomfortable to be in. All together, woodworth has been a decent experience for me.

Wood building A was a great place to live, I really enjoyed the short time that I was able to live their before Covid-19 happened. I would definitely recommend this dorm to my friends. Quiet place so I didn’t have to worry about other residents being too loud.

It is a little lack luster, but it is the cheapest form to live in one campus, and it has the best dining hall in my opinion. It also is smack dab in the middle of campus for the most part. All of my classes were within a 10 minute walking distance too!
