mostly quiet (depending on your roommate(s)/suitemate(s). Some of the best views of the river and the esplanade. Fairly quiet streets but not too quiet. The streets can be a little dark but overall very nice.

Bay State Road are apartment style buildings that run across Bay St Road on BU Campus, and stretches out to Myles Standish Hall. The location is a isolated but quiet, and is little away from the hustle and bustle of campus

It's very nice and gives off a very home feel to it. It's like you're living in an apartment and just going about your day everyday. It is near a large driveway, so there is some white noise if you live on the side that faces the road, but you get use to it pretty fast.

It is honestly not so bad if there wasn't so much construction. The constriction was so loud and went on for so long, sometimes even shaking the building. I had to complain about the bathrooms being cleaned only once and ever since they had been on top of it. I have lived and will live next year in the same dorm. The staff seem nice although you rarely see them.

Not a lot of people talk to each other unless you go out of your way to do so. The bathrooms are cleaned every day except weekends and it's done pretty well and I've only had to remind them to clean the floors once and they picked up the slack. Maintenance comes quickly only if you call so call first. It is far from west campus and next to a new building being built so the view I have will be gone soon which is sad and likely will later have to worry about people seeing you from across the way and the lack of light that will come through due to that building.

I live on one of the better brownstone dorms, and it is a pretty nice place to live. The basement common area is a little dry, but not many people use it anyways. I would reccomend living here after freshmen year.

I switched from a large dorm housing to Bay State Brownstone given the pandemic. It is great to live in smaller housing with about 13 people in the entire building (four floors). Everything is really flexible, but you have to walk to other buildings and get printing and nearby dining halls.

This is such a fun location to live on campus, and it's usually pretty quiet aside from the construction noise and the occasional loud music. I just wish I had a kitchen, even a communal one. :( The mail is also a pain, located a block away, have to lug all my heavy boxes a 2 blocks and up four flights of stairs.
