Heritage Halls Dorm Reviews at BYU

I thought it was a great experience and the building was decently new, which was nice. I loved the atmosphere and I thought there was plenty of space. The two bathrooms were nice, even with six of us. It could get loud within the three rooms in the apartment, but we couldn't hear the neighbors. It was always in the hallways and common rooms, and the cleaning checks allowed the chance to really clean your own apartment.

I had a wonderful experience at heritage halls. It provided a quiet place to study and a fun environment to interact with my peers. It offered me a clean environment to study and learn in. I felt safe and at ease during my time in Heritage halls.

Heritage Halls is great because it has a full kitchen and living and your own bathrooms. Unlike Helaman halls where you don't have a kitchen or bathroom in your dorm. If you would prefer to cook for yourself and like having a private as opposed to communal bathroom, Heritage is the way to go at byu.

Heritage halls was a great place to live. The housing was clean and well maintained, the RA's were friendly, and the social life was good. The main reason I roomed there was so that I could cook for myself on campus, and it lived up to the needs.

I loved staying in Hertiage Halls! It was really good for me. I wanted a kitchen so I could cook my own food, I saved a lot of money that way. I made great friends and it was great because compared to the other on campus housing, we could have guys in our dorm in the living room area and kitchen, great for movies and everything. The only thing I couldn't stand was parking. The parking at heritage is NOT good and if you have a car, maybe think of something else. But if not, heritage is a great place!

Heritage Halls was the best apartment I ever had! The quality was fantastic, the price was cheap, the roommates and neighbors were all friendly and helpful. Also, I like it better than Helaman Halls because of the kitchen (which is really nice to have) and I prefer the layout and common rooms in Heritage more too.

It was really good! I had some pretty good roommates and there were pretty much no problems. The few times that we had issues with things in the apartment, they were fixed by the end of the day. If I was a freshman again, I would definitely stay there.

I have stayed at Heritage for a few summers and I have nothing but good things to say. It’s very close to the dining hall and the Creamy which is a plus. It’s not too far from most classes and is definitely a great fit for anyone.

My experience here was pretty good. I liked the bathrooms and room layout. The walls between dorms are a bit thin, so when roommates are up late, you can still hear them, but it wasn't usually too bad. I wish there were nicer lounge areas to hang out in because being eavesdropped on while visiting on the main floor isn't the most comfortable. The place feels safe and can be a great place to go so long as you have good roommates.

My experience at Heritage Halls this year has been amazing. The areas were never dirty. It always just looked very put together. The staff is just the best. My hall advisor is the nicest person and was so helpful and accommodating to my needs. My resident assistant was so personal and really comforted me when I was stressed. She was such a great person to be around. The layout of the apartment is very open and spacious. It is a great place to bring friends.

Great experience, I was able to meet lots of new people and get around the beautiful campus being so centrally located. Having such a great atmosphere made my stay comfortable and I gained a great education.

Heritage Halls was really clean and tidy, but the social life was lacking a little bit in my opinion. I lived in the building furthest from campus, and it took about 12 minutes to walk to the first campus building. Having a kitchen was so nice when compared to BYU's other dorm- Helaman Halls. Overall it was a good experience but if you are looking for a more social freshmen year, I would go with Helaman Halls!

I have loved living at Heritage Halls, mainly because of the location. You are on campus, walkable distance to most places. The downfalls are parking and shared rooms. The parking is a nightmare! Sharing a room has been okay, but a single room would be ideal.

Heritage Halls is a very ideal location for Freshman students who are eager to get a traditional, social on-campus living experience. In Heritage it is EASY to find other people similar to you and your situation, and the staff even hosts social events on a semi-regular basis. Somewhat strict, but understanding dorm management makes for tidy buildings, zero safety concerns, and personal interactions when repairs or other concerns are brought-up. The dorms have all the necessary utilities and are big enough to live comfortably. I loved living here for my first semester in college.

I love Heritage Halls! The only thing that I didn't like was that my dorm was not as renovated as other dorms at Heritage. It just makes it look not as clean as others. The thing that makes me love it is the people and the maintenance people are so fast when there is a problem. I love how prompt they are.

I enjoyed my time at Heritage Halls. It is close to campus and has a pretty social atmosphere. It's also relatively quiet. I liked studying in the common areas at the end of the hallways. There were usually no people there and the views were amazing!

Heritage Halls has been a great introduction to my college experience. The location is convenient and the community is very supportive and fun, which makes it easy to make friends and get any kind of support you need. I came in without knowing anyone in my room or building, and I've had no problem meeting new people. The apartment itself is also new, well-maintained, and comfortable.

My time at Heritage Halls was great! The facilities are in top shape and the students are very social. The students tend to be younger (freshman and sophomores). I never had a problem with the place being too loud. I would highly recommend.

Very good for the price, totally worth a semester or two to get the "college experience". These dorms are monitored a room advisor and hall advisor (building manager) and they will report you if you're breaking the rules, so don't expect to be able to live here and break the honor code.

It's a very nice apartment. The furniture is lacking. However there is a very nice full kitchen that has proved extremely useful! The bathrooms are nice, however the tile on the floor is a bit gross. The bedrooms are spacious and require little maintenance.
