Heritage Halls Dorm Reviews at BYU

I absolutely loved my experience. This hall was great for those wanting more of an "apartment" vibe rather than that of a dingey dorm. The kitchen was so helpful and the living room was convenient, especially when having people over. Rather than Helaman Halls, Heritage had more privacy and space.

It's wonderful! Having a kitchen in the dorm is the best experience as a college student, and the rest of the dorm is great as well. Everything is in good condition, and there is plenty of space for everything you need and more. I've always felt at home here!

Heritage Halls is apartment style so I have five other roommates which is so fun! I love having many roommates. We also have a kitchen which Helaman Halls did not have. So a meal plan is not really required. I just love the environment at Heritage Halls.

I loved my experience at Heritage Halls! I was happy to have my own kitchen, cheap rent, nice bathrooms, and 5 suite mates. I don't know of any other colleges with apartment-style housing on-campus, but I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Heritage Halls is a very resident centered dormitory. The staff here try very hard to reach out to each person to see how they can best meet their needs. It is very social and friendly. A great place for someone who wants to meet people and appreciates others trying to help them.

I have had a very good at Heritage Halls this past semester! It is in the perfect location, making it easy to get around campus. One of the downfalls is the lack of parking. If you are planning on bringing a car, plan on walking far distances to park your car.

It’s a nice place to stay at, it gives you the freedom of being independent, but at the same time it allows you to stay connected and meet other people as well. Overall, if you want to cook on your own and feel like you are in an apartment, but want to live on campus, this is the place for you.

Clean, quiet, safe, so close to everything, and affordable! And the view from the windows is amazing. Just a few things would make it so much better... (1) One refrigerator is NOT enough for six people! (2) Two bathrooms for six people is doable, but tricky. It helps a lot that there is a sink outside of the toilet/shower areas, but it would be even better if there were TWO sinks. (3) There are supposed to be cleaning tools provided for us, but they are never there when I need them. Bring your own broom, dustpan, vaccum cleaner, etc. (4) The free wifi is great, but the bring your own router thing was an unpleasant surprise on move in day. Bring your own router! Buy it before you arrive in Provo!

Heritage Halls was a great place to live. Especially for my freshman year of college. It helped me to make friends in a new place. I loved my roommates. And the RA that I had was amazing. I also liked being able to use the laundry room in my building.

The dorms are really nice, there is plenty of space and my dorm has 2 full bathrooms as well as a third sink and vanity. The kitchen and living room are big public spaces. I wish my building just had more games like pool tables in the public rooms.

I have nothing more to add, I am appreciative of the time I spent there. I was able to meet the people I needed to at the time, and the ecclesiastical envirobment associated with the dorms were a particular blessing.

The rooms were pretty nice. The restroom was not dirty, but it was not clean either. The mirrors were unusable. The neighboring room had problems with its restroom. There was brown stuff that was coming out from the drain which seemed like it came from the sewer.

Hurry! Is how I felt in order to get back to the comforts of my dorm at Heritage Halls. It was always a great place to be at the end of the day, as well as being able to go to the activity rooms to study with friends and hang out. I always felt great while there, and I think it's a wonderful place for first-year students to live!

2 year living here, overall great experience. really like the apartment style living and the fact that I only share bathrooms with 5 others instead of sharing with 50 other students! also really great to have a kitchen.

I love living at Heritage Halls because it is a clean, well-kept living space. It is also located near the HBLL, WILK, and other main campus buildings. The doors are kept locked at all times for the safety of the residents. The rules regarding COVID-19 are quite strict, but they are in place for the safety of all students and staff.

Living in Heritage was a great experience! It's more like living in an apartment than a dorm, but with the added benefits of being on-campus and close to everything. Some of my best friends to this day are the people I met while living in Heritage! The apartments are clean, laundry is in the basement and super convenient, and the maintenance is really fast when something breaks. The social life is great as well. Even though it's located on campus and is really close to everything, there is great outdoor space outside the dorms. There are big open spaces to play games and even a little grove of trees and a stream. Excellent study/common rooms on each floor of the building, and there is also a piano room on each floor. The only thing I wish they would improve is to put bathtubs in the bathrooms, as I am a girl and would like to be able to take a bath when I have bad period cramps.

My experience at Heritage Halls is still unmatched. I moved in my second semester during my freshman year and it made ALL the difference. The apartment style dorms offer a lot of conveniences while also being on campus. I found that there was plenty of space for all six of us to be living in their - three rooms, two bathrooms, and a full-vanity gave us some breathing room. Everything was still well-kept and we never had any maintenance problems.

Heritage Halls is a great place to live!! It is newly refurbished, there's hardly any construction, the landscaping is beautiful, and the environment is over-all very friendly. Maintenance was very quick in responding to any calls. You live very close to three different BYU Creameries (Creamery on 9th, Creamery Outlet, Heritage Creamery) and there is a lot of recreational activities very close by. The only downside is the parking, but the parking lot is a short walk away.

I love having a kitchen as a part of my housing. The staff is very friendly and make all expectations clear. It is a well-maintained part of campus. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and solve problems in the apartment.

I loved my experience at Heritage Halls! Though I wouldn't live there past freshman years (simply due to the younger social climate), it was a great way to get familiar with the college lifestyle. It was very safe, especially for my first time living alone, and was nice and close to campus.
