Beets-Veenstra Dorm Reviews at Calvin

I enjoyed BV while I lived there for my freshman and sophomore years at Calvin. The community was great and it felt like my floor mates really cared about me and the staff facilitated these relationships. Unfortunately, the common areas are the most outdated on campus which made hanging out in these areas a bit more difficult.

My time at Beets-Veenstra has been very good. I appreciate the simple style of a suite, but the rooms are a little small unfortunately. The dorm is well taken care of, and I have not been worried in terms of safety. I do love the community and culture of the dorm which is very positive.
