Taft House Dorm Reviews at Case Western

Taft was a nice dorm compared to the rest but the race-car style floors definitely made it harder to interact. The swim team lived there so if you weren't a part of it you were kind of an outsider. The dorm itself has been updated more than the others and the rooms are bigger than other buildings.

Compared to other dorms in the freshman housing, Taft has much bigger rooms. I also never really had any problems with noise but the walls are somewhat thin and sometimes you can hear noise from upstairs if they are really loud, it is generally never a problem though. Maintenance can be quite slow to respond to maintenance request because one of our washers broke down halfway through the fall semester and was never fixed until other washers and dryers were breaking in spring semester (We only had 2 washers and 1 dryer available one time).

Of the freshman dorms at Case, its one of the nicest ones. There is a kitchen on the first floor that people like using to bake. It's four stories tall, with 19 rooms on floors 2-4 and 4 rooms on the first floor.
