Willetts Hall Dorm Reviews at Cedarville

Willetts is a fantastic hall to live in. It is the largest girls' hall, but it is very close to the DMC and a pretty easy walk to Callen, the BTS, and the SSC. Definitely a good dorm for freshman who are not interested in unit style dorms.

I chose the hall style because it was quieter and more independent than a unit style. You do get to see your roommates around a lot though so it's still easy to make friends but when you want your me-time, it's easy to get away and study.

Willets Hall is located on the north side of campus on Cedar Lake Drive. Around 340 female students live in Willets, made up of all class years but predominantly upperclassmen. It is a hall style dorm, with shared bathrooms off of each hall. Willets has two TV lounges, four study lounges, three laundry rooms, and a full kitchen. There is also a coed lounge on the main floor.

Willetts is overall a really great dorm! The rooms are nice and the community is awesome. The only cons are that the main lounge is usually filled with couples that stare at you when you walk through, and some of the rooms have random pipes in the corners that make it a little difficult to arrange the furniture. But in general Willetts is an amazing place to stay. (also, they just redid the bathrooms and installed new WiFi routers!)

I enjoyed my time in Willetts Hall at Cedarville University. The rooms offer plenty of space, especially if you arrange the current furniture strategically. The wardrobe and drawers that are provided with the room provide sufficient storage space for clothes, shoes, and other essentials. The heat/AC unit can sometimes overcompensate but it mostly keeps the room at a comfortable temperature. Overall, Willetts provides a comfortable environment and pleasant experience as a residence hall.

I am a sophomore transfer student. I love my RA and RD, they are both amazing! The RD is a bit more strict, but my RA likes to have a good time and even took our hall star gazing late one night! With COVID the drinking fountains are disabled which is kind of a hassle, and there is a funny smell because one of the drinking fountain's filters molded as a result of not being used, but the maintenance guy came and made a quick fix of it! There are a lot of different communities within Willetts, but halls are also close. I enjoy the time I have had at Willetts so far!

There is plenty of space to hangout with friends in the lounge areas throughout the building. The rooms are a decent size and there is more than enough space for all your belongings plus the girls in my hall are amazing people!

Rooms are arranged in a hall-style dorm, and provide a decent amount of space and storage. The building is older, but is well-kept and clean. Furniture is also in good condition and easy to arrange. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and taken care of. Showers also have a small changing area with a shelf and hook, which is very convenient. Noise level is relatively low too. I am enjoying my experience so far and would highly recommend!

Willetts has been my home on campus for two years of college now and it’s been a nice medium on both location and amenities. It’s clean and homey and usually nicely-decorated by the RAs and RD. Some halls have nicer bathrooms and common areas than others.
