Chanticleer Hall Dorm Reviews at Coastal Carolina

I thought living in Chanticleer Hall with 9 other girls would be horrible. It was not at all. The space was very big for sharing a room. I was able to bring a lot of my stuff and decorate my room the way I wanted. The bathroom is the only thing I had a problem with. The bathroom rarely had toilet paper in it and only one of the three showers got warm. Other than that it was a great location to walk to class. Laundry was easy because of the app we downloaded. The dumpster was also very close to the dorm which made it convenient to take it out on the way to class.

It's your typical college dorm. It's nothing too flashy. I just wish they didn't have motion sensor sinks and that the hot water worked when I first moved in. Other then that I've had a good experience.

Chanticleer Hall was great. Our elevator did not work and they always have problems with it. Everyone is super respectful of everyone else and is typically quiet. The layout of the bathrooms is nice as long as you keep it clean.

Its pretty good. You can hear everything on the floor above you. If you are by the stairs, you can hear everything and everyone going up and down the stairs. Resident advisor is great. We clean our bathrooms ourselves right now because of the pandemic. I do see staff cleaning common surface areas often.

Chanticleer Hall is easily the best residence hall. It is fairly quiet, the residences are well-behaved and extremely friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It truly is a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and clean, the common area provides space to interact with suitemates and I could not imagine not living with all of these other girls in my suite.
