The Woods Dorm Reviews at Coastal Carolina

The woods was the best dorm, it is apartments style with a living area and kitchenette. Each bedroom is a single. the apartment has private entrance easy to have friends over. The shower and toilet are in individual rooms so not to hold up schedules with sinks and mirrors in the hallway. It was amazing living here it was a quick walk home from the clubs and right near the dining hall

The woods is very nice because you have a room to yourself and a common area you share with three other suite mates with a full size fridge and plenty of storage space. Very thin walls in bad condition and bugs are the downfalls. The bathroom situation is small and not great either.

I really enjoyed living in the Woods, it was very spacious and there was always something entertaining happening. Toilets and door issues were common, but other than that I loved it there! I lived in Oak Hall but most of the other buildings were very similar. The parking was super convenient, and it was a decently placed on campus where everything wasn’t too far away.

I am extremely glad that I chose to live in The Woods for my freshman year here at Coastal! I have become best friends with my 3 other roommates as well as so many of my neighbors! My RA is very relaxed, fun, and cares about every student living in the building I live in which is Elm Hall. Before coming to Coastal, The Woods was very appealing to me because of the apartment style living. I have my own room, shared living room, shared kitchen, shared bathroom, and shared shower. I live on the first floor which I personally do not recommend for incoming students because of bugs. Go for the second or third floor!

No complaints about woods except the walk to do laundry. Also have the handicap room so have a big bathroom, extra sink, and an entire kitchen. Doors automatically lock which I don’t really enjoy. Have my own room and lots of closet space in the hallways.
