It is very convenient to live on campus, there is very nice staff and helpful. There is nothing around such as city lights or loud nosies. The campus is filled with nature and fantastic views. It is like a breath of fresh air compared to city air that I came from. Walking around is peaceful and easy.

As someone with Autism I wanted to live in the dorm because I wanted to live on campus as a Freshman when I was moving to Oregon from California. I was fortunate enough to get a private room with 3 other suitemates. The room was very small and fit a single bed, a dresser and small closet. The walls were so thin that my next door suitemate complained anytime I was on the phone talking to friends. It got so frustrating that I bought noise cancelling blankets and tried to be as quiet as possible - nothing worked. I moved out at Thanksgiving break and into my own apartment. As someone with a disability and not many IRL friends, talking to people online is super important for my mental health. The dorm was well maintained, a good location and great for people that are more social and like interacting with other people.
