I love living in the townhouses! I have a great group of roommates (8 of us total here) and the group that lives above us isn't loud. We're right on the end, so we aren't really bothered by noise from anyone else either. Cleaning is all you though, so make sure your group is on the same page with responsibilities and buying stuff like toilet paper and soap.
