Willard Dorm Reviews at CU Boulder

The dorm wasn't often fixed up or cleaned up. It super loud outside as Farrand Field is right next to the dorm. If you like to party like every single night then this is the dorm for you. Otherwise, if you value your education, look for a dorm in Kittredge.

I like Willard, It's not as well-known as some of the other dorms on campus, and for that reason it seems more chill. I like the LLC that comes with it as well. If you want a quieter place with less stress I'd suggest Willard for sure.

My experience at Willard was varied but ultimately paramount to my incredibly positive freshman experience. I lived in Willard for two semesters and shared a living space with one other freshman. Coming from out of state I was incredibly conscious of the quality of my living arrangements for this time period. Willard offered me a lot of ease with high-quality facilities and staff in good proximities to anything a new student at UC boulder would require.

Willard has some perks, like location and wood floors but those are about it. The carpets in the hallway are always disgusting, my RA is never there, the showers in the bathroom don't have any light in them, there is only a curtain covering the shower, the rooms are so small my roommate and I can touch each other from our beds, and there is no door or curtain on the closet like there is in many other dorms.

It is very loud no matter what, but people do tend to calm down when you tell them too. Also it is COVID times and people have no where else to hang out. I like Willard hall because it is right next to the C4C and I can get food very fast.

Overall my experience at Willard was good. However, there could have been more of an effort to keep common areas and bathrooms clean. Also, the walls were thin and easily broke when hit with an object.
