Larrabee House

The rooms are fine with nothing big to note about but the location is great with a 10-minute walk to the academic buildings and less than a 5-minute walk to the dining hall and main campus building. The only problem is the maintenance of the building is often left alone. The bathroom is constantly flooding and unclean and when brought up nothing is fixed. although the only main problem it is a very big issue. more

It is nice but all the common areas were taken away which was a bummer. The bathrooms can get dirty and smelly during weekends because staff doesn't work but also residents don't properly throw trash that can cause in there designated places more

Overall good experience, but maintenance and cleanliness seriously lacking. Also, the heat and air conditioning do not function well. The walls separating dorms is a bonus, and the size of rooms is amazing. Being connected to the dining hall is amazing! more

Smith House

Living in Smith House is very nice, there can be instances of people smoking outside, but it is not often. Thursday is a party night so just keep that in mind for every dorm on campus. Smith is older and has better water pressure than the newer dorms. more

Lambdin House

Lambdin is one of the newer buildings and is a part of the Plex. It has rules concerning staying quiet after hours but overall it is a nice and comfortable building. I enjoy the common rooms because it is a nice study place aside from the library. However, I do wish the showers were bigger. more

Branford House was made in 1911, the same year Connecticut College was established as an all women's college. It's unique history on central campus and location across the Shain Library offers students a versatile living experience. Other than the one missing tile on the tole north facing staircase and the random hole in the wall a student must have made, Branford is easy to live in with a chill community of students. more

I haven’t had any problems so far. Being on the first floor can be kind of loud at night and sometimes the bathroom is messy. But otherwise, it’s not bad. The staff is nice and approachable and it’s cleaned every week day. more
