Valley Oak Hall - Building 10 Dorm Reviews at Cal State Northridge

It is has been very chilling, quite, and a nice place to study in your own comfort. The people in the dorm don't really socialize with each other so it's a but awkwardness. But it can get loud in certain rooms and disturb the peace. Overall 10/10 experience.

It was my first year dorming, and it was a great experience. Many things were nice about my building because the other people living there were not loud, the staff always cleaned the common areas every morning and bathrooms. The location is not very convenient because it is further from the shuttles that take you to campus in the morning. When the dorm had issues maintenance would fix them immediately. The staff was very nice as well. The reason why I gave the safety three stars is that in my time living there I would receive many emails about something happening in the area I was afraid to go to at night around my dorm.

In building 10 the first floor has the biggest dorms and tall ceilings. I enjoyed the dorms with a kitchen because I was able to cook for myself and not gain the freshman 15. I also enjoyed how spacious our dorm room felt. Not great if you want a Freshman experience. This building was in a great location loved how you were able to have a pool next door and a little bit closer to campus, plenty of parking. Next to the mail building and close enough to the student center.
