Chemnitz Dorm Reviews at Concordia

This is my first year staying in the dorms. I really like that this newer dorm has air conditioning and is new and fresh. We have 3 separate bedrooms that can hold a total of 9 people, but we only have 2 girls in each room for a total of 6. I really enjoy my experience so far.

Honestly, this is the best first year dorm you can pick. You live with 8 other people in three rooms of three, but you have two bathrooms, a shower room, air conditioning and plenty of space. I would recommend this dorm to first year students.

I absolutely love living in Chemnitz Residence Hall. I love the private bathrooms and suite style set up. My favorite thing about Chemnitz is that it is one of the only dorms with air conditioning. I have a direct view of Lake Michigan out of my room that is gorgeous. Chemnitz has great common space and lounge areas. On floors two and four, it has a small and convenient workout space.

AMAZING! Everyone is friendly and keep their doors open for people to come in and meet one another. The RA staff is always great and RD Ryley is even better! They all work very hard to throw amazing programs that include everyone in the dorm.

It was clean and luxurious! My only complaint is that it was hard to meet people other than your roommates! I think setting it up as a normal single dorm instead of a suite would be beneficial and get you out of your room.

It is an awesome place to stay at and I got really lucky to be able to live hear. My stay here has been amazing so far and I am excited for the future here. Chemnitz is also very clean and one of the nicest buildings overall.
