Herriott Hall Dorm Reviews at Drake

It is an okay experience. Very quite nothing really happens in Herriot. The rooms are very hot but I find this is a problem throughout the other dorms as well. I definitely wouldn't mind staying another year in herriot.

Herriott had great common spaces for hanging out and getting to know other first-years, as well as a study room that was good to get homework done with your friends. Rooms were a decent size for you and a roommate. I never had a problem finding an open shower.

I moved in easily, almost everything was ready to go when I got there. First semester was easy enough living on campus, relatively no issues with my room, and the problem I had with the locking mechanism on my door was fixed the same day I sent a request, same with the internet issues. The rooms are warm and spacious enough for the designated number of occupants, and the community is welcoming and helpful when needed.

Overall, I am satisfied with the facilities, study spaces, restrooms, and dorm conditions at Drake. Although noise is sometimes an issue, I know this is due to chance placement in the dorms, and not Drake's fault.
