Walters Hall Dorm Reviews at EKU

My floor was very clean, I had a good RA that took care of things and always cared about us. The hall would allow us to decorate for the holidays and express who we are on our doors. They allow ESA of any kind. People there are always willing to lend you something if you need or allow you to use their microwave for a quick minute.

Living here for the second year in a row so they got me back! I’ve enjoyed my experience pretty good for my freshman year dorm. I am back again with a freshman roommate because it’s cheap and it’s got great storage. The showers could use and upgrade and the AC needs some TLC but despite the constant fire drills I love my dorm.

Walters is definitely the nicest out of the affordable dorms at EKU. They are very clean, and the cleaning staff is always friendly and helpful. The common areas on each floor are very small, but the study rooms and areas in the basement are a good alternative space for studying or hanging out. Walters is very quiet, and the residents and staff are all pretty considerate of one another. Overall, Walters is an affordable option, especially for incoming students, that is a great place to ease into the college experience.

It was a decent experience and one I surely will not forget. A nice place to live for a first year student with the only downfall being it’s distance from almost anything else on campus. I loved the RA’s who worked the desks, as they were so helpful in me growing. The staff did there best keeping everything clean with all things considered. A building I would not mind living in again.
