I had a great experience living in Turman for my first year at Emory. Turman is one of the smaller dorms on campus, so it tends to be a little quiter. The rooms are very spacious, and each room includes a sink in it as well. I always felt very safe in Turman, and I left my door unlocked most of the time (I don't recommend this though). The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and the common areas were nice for socializing. However, I do wish the furniture was a little more comfortable. As far as the location, Turman is very close to the student center and athletic facilities, but you may have to walk a little further for your classes. I never walked more than 15 minutes to go anywhere on campus. Overall, I had a great experience in Turman and I would highly recommend it.
