O'Connor Hall Dorm Reviews at Embry-Riddle

great people with many interests. relaxing place to study, hangout, make food. best priced dorm on campus. the living areas are reasonably sized and easily fits everyone in the suite. rooms are spacious and accommodate both residents. smaller halls makes it easier to meet neighboring suites.

O'Connor Hall is alright. It's nice to have a dorm that's more like an apartment for once. You get the feel of an apartment/adulting while still being included on campus and not just dropped off to fend for yourself. If you're going for O'Connor Hall, try your best not to get room D or the second bathroom. They're insanely smaller than the rest, but you are still paying full price. When you first move in, double check all the appliances to make sure they're working. My freezer was broke as well as both burners on the stove top. It's also the farthest dorm form the main part of campus, so be prepared to walk. I highly recommend getting a bike, skateboard, longboard, electric scooter, etc. Other than that the dorm is pretty nice. It's definitely the most amount of room you'll get on campus at a pretty decent price.

At first, sharing a suite with eight other guys seemed daunting. But when I realized we had so much in common and that it was really 4 rooms in a suite, it was awesome! I still speak to the guys years after graduation and I truly believe this environment helped foster lifelong friendships. I ended up becoming a Resident Advisor and in the same Residence Hall and had a blast doing that too.

It does what it has to do, however small spaces and minimal room cleans & support from maintenance make the semester difficult. I am forced to move to a study room to complete any homework due to the standard desks only having space for a laptop and a pencil holder.
