Deming Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Findlay

Deming Residence Hall was quiet, comfortable, and low-drama. It’s located right over the dining hall so it was super convenient to go get meals right downstairs. It was also a perfect location to get to the academic buildings.

Deming hall is an all girls hall. The stairs can be an inconvenience but there are restrooms/showers on each level. The restrooms were cleaned every morning and I felt it was a clean place to reside. The dining area was also conveniently located below.

I loved the atmosphere that came with Deming. In my opinion, the dorms were actually a pretty good size compared to a lot of the dorms I've toured. It was right next to the dining hall which was really nice, especially in the morning. Unfortunately it is not very handicap friendly.

My experience has been pretty good. The people on the floor above me are a little noisy at times but other than that it's not too bad. The restroom is very clean and my only complaint would be that there isn't very much water pressure for the showers.

My experience living in deming is good. Everyone is extremely nice and my RA is very helpful to all of us during our time here. The cleaning staff does an amazing job keeping everything clean especially during COVID.

I just want to say that I love being at college but living in an all girl dorm is not all that. There are rules that the RA does not enforce such as girls are suppose to clean their hair out of the shower drain and rarely do or they leave it on the wall of the shower. Gross. I have had a girl steal things off of my dorm door and the RA did nothing. She made me go to security to see the cameras and find out who did it which is suppose to be her job. All in all I would recommend an apartment. That is what I plan on doing in my Junior year as I have to live on campus the first 2 years.
