Nagler Hall Dorm Reviews at FIT

I would definitely have to say this specific Hall is a great enviorment, especially students first time living in a dorm! the people here are amazing and so kind, I've have created many bonds with friends here, everyone just meshes and fits right in. As a student who just moved here from Texas, I love it!

Overall living in Nagler Hall was a great experience; the view from outside my window was great and something I will miss. My RA was wonderful and always ensured we were okay throughout the year. Although living with many women can be intimidating, it was great for me to make and help friends. There is no such thing as a perfect and clean environment, but it wasn’t nasty, and the maintenance people cleaned every morning, so I appreciate them the most.

Super convenient being across the street from the academic buildings. When I lived there they were recently renovated, rooms are spacious traditional dorms, they were bigger than expected being in the city. When I toured a community college in my hometown, the dorms there were half the size of Nagler's and expected to have four roommates. The downside, walls are thin and there's no A/C so bring a fan. The common room is definitely not as nice as Co-ed or Alumni but it's still very big with lots of room for everyone, at least in my opinion. There's plenty of table space. All girls dorm personally made me feel more comfortable and is one of the main reasons I chose Nagler over the other freshman dorms. Security here and throughout campus is strong, I've always felt safe.

I was at Nagler Hall for my freshman year at FIT. It was an overall great experience. I would recommend for people who want to meet new people and friends as it is a more social dorm (all females). The resident is also right in front of the school which makes the commute unbeatable. On-campus safety is top notch because they make you show your school ID anytime you enter an FIT building. There was a janitor who came to clean the communal bathroom everyday which made the college bathroom experience a bit more bearable.
