FEC Towers Dorm Reviews at Flagler

Rooms are spacious and you are provided with every you will need to enjoy your year at Flagler. The showers are bigger than Lewis dorm. FEC building has much better laundry area and great hang out space. Unfortunately ther isn't a community kitchen.

It was a great dorm to live in, plenty of space for two people, a little tight for three in one room. Parking garage is right there allowing plenty of parking spots for residents of FEC and the Abare Hall behind it. The amount of noise you could hear of people walking in the hall was a bit loud but bearable.

Right next to King St, so it's kind of loud. But, in my opinion, it is much better than Ponce. Unlike Ponce, all the rooms are virtually the same size/structure, aside of sink/closet placement. Haven't had any problems with hot water. Dorm feels a lot more safer than Ponce. It is right across the street from the police station, so if you have a problem and security is unavailable, you can call them and they will be there right away. Also next to the Fire Department, so that is also a plus.

FEC Towers is great to live in for upperclassmen. It gives you the feeling as if you are not on campus. However, the walk to campus is quite nice. The historical aspect of it also makes it feel as if you are not on a typical college campus, but rather a memorable one.

Right on a busy street and next to a popular winery, but nothing too serious. Dorms can be single or double and are basically the same size/have the same things in them (one microwave/fridge, two sinks, one/two beds, etc.) One minor issue is that there is only one laundry area per the entire three towers.

It's easy to navigate around but the elevators breakdown pretty often so it can be annoying when you live on the 4th floor and you have to lug everything up the stairs. That aside, the security guards are nice and your neighbors are pretty sweet; sometimes they will leave candy outside your door.

For the most part, the dorm is great. It is newer than the Ponce Hall dormitories, so the facilities are more modernized and not as temperamental. Termites are hardly a problem, unlike in Ponce. My only gripe is that the dorm is right in the middle of the San Sebastien Winery, The Police Station, the Fire Department and a busy gas station/restaurant. It does get noisy from time to time, and it can get loud at night, especially during Night of Lights. Aside of this issue, it is a nice dorm to live in.
