I think that it is a good place (especially for students) to get acclimated it is safe and you can deal with most issues with your studies by asking your residents for help. The staff is ok and in an emergency knows what to do.

I stayed at Hemingway Hall my first year as a Music Education Major. It was close to all my music classes. The only thing I wish I had was the ability to cook meals. I didn't care too much for the food on campus.

It's a very quiet, clean and well maintained dorm, however it is one of the farthest away from both classrooms and dining options. The RA's are always very friendly, and the double card swipe makes the dorm very secure. I have never had a problem with theft or other disruptions.
