Kasling Dorm Reviews at Fredonia

I have dormed at Kasling for the past two year and am happy with my living experience there. The only problem would be the weed smell that not only comes from inside the building but outside as well. Other than that RA's are nice and do great programs, the RD is very sweet and helps you with as much information as she can get you.

Kasling was my first experience with dorm life. I didn't really know what to expect coming in, but I was really happy with it. The staff was welcoming and helped to nurture a sense of community there. I especially enjoyed the opening of the lounge on the first floor. It had different little activities to help us de-stress. The building itself isn't in the most convenient, but it's certainly closer to the main academic buildings than Hemingway, or Hendrix Hall. The building was usually pretty quiet unless someone went through the alarmed doors past 9pm or played music too loud. Being a freshman residence at the time, those things were to be expected. My only with the bathroom was that sometimes the floor next to the shower would be flooded. The maintenance staff did a great job and were really friendly. I never felt like the was unsafe. There were a lot of safety measures in place, and if I did have a problem, I knew I could call an RA or University Police. I loved living in Kasling and I miss it a lot.

I loved living in kasling hall. the overall experience living in that dorm building was pleasant. the staff were always extremely kind and helpful. although many nights were noisy on my floor, so study in my dorm was difficult.
