While staying at Patrick Hall, I stayed in both a double room with a roommate and in an RA room. Both rooms were very nice and clean when I came. They are supplied with a bed, desk, dresser, storage space, mini-fridge, and microwave. It was about a 3-5 minute walk to dining which is not bad at all. Housekeeping was very nice and did a good job keeping the spaces clean. more

My experience was positive, the rooms are big but there is not a lot of storage space. The best location on campus. It can get super hot during summer so you should ask for an AC. There is no kitchen and the showers are not the bests. more

The social experience depends on the type of people living on the same floor as you. Some floors are more social than others. Also, the walls are really thin. The location is perfect when it comes to getting to any college buildings, dining, the gym. more

It was my first year in college and I will say that the placement of the building allowed me to reach all of my classes within less than 5 minutes, however, the cleanliness was not the best and needs to be better. more

Hazlett Hall

I love Hazlett! Any quarry apartment (except maybe West Hall because its so far) is awesome. Very clean, new, and lots of big windows for natural light. Great set up. Only flaw is that the apartments don't have full kitchens, they have kitchenettes. This isn't a huge problem since you have to have a 12 meal plan in quarry apartments. more

Paxton Hall

Probably the best dorm I had at Gettysburg. It is a converted motel so all of the rooms have their own bathroom. There was rarely noise, likely due in part to covid restrictions but it isn't too close to the frat houses so I imagine it wouldn't be too bad under normal circumstances. It's too bad we were sent home early due to Covid, as I really enjoyed the room I had. more
