Potomac House Dorm Reviews at GWU

The dorm is Co-ed and it has ten floors and the rooms are two person dorms. There are three lounges in the building. The basement TV lounge houses the community kitchen for the building. There are two study lounges located on the first and second floor of the building. Community kitchen located in the basement of the building Common laundry facilities in the basement of the building Combination-lock mailboxes located per room in the lobby of the building Indoor bike rack located on the first floor of the building. it’s a great dorm as it is close to most things in campus and gets things done:)

Potomac was a great freshman dorm. It’s the closest to the White House and capitol, so protests are easy to get to! It is a little bit further from the metro, library, and other common areas but i enjoyed the walk.

The Potomac House is a Quiet and Quant Dorm Room. It is one of the nicest freshmen door rooms on GW's Foggy Bottom campus. Many of the door rooms come with a private bathroom and perfect for individuals seeking privacy and space.

I love Potomac and its location in terms of the engineering school. I love how many people are in Potomac and it's a great way to meet so many new friends. Lastly, all the RA's are so incredibly nice and very trustworthy.
