Hale Noelani Dorm Reviews at Hawaii

For what it was worth, it was good. It did it's job. It wasn't dirty. It was a great accommodation. We were on the bottom floor which was convenient because we didn't have to lug heavy things or groceries up stairs. We were next to a fraternity group that lived next door. It was good because we felt protected. It wasn't the typical fraternity you think of. They were really nice. We could leave our door open and wouldn't be bothered by anyone. It does get hot in there!

I lived in Hale Noelani for two years. My first year was fine, it is an older building so it was to be expected that it wasn't perfect. It is very hot, as the dorms are that do not have AC. My main complaint was that my second year our kitchen sink did not work and we called maintenance multiple times only to never have a working kitchen sink for the whole year.

I spent 2 years in the same dorm room. It really depends on you and your roommates. I lived on the first floor which was convenient for grocery store runs and doing laundry. Not really an issue with random people coming into our dorm. Neighbors were always nice and not too loud.
