Blessing Hall

Blessing Hall is a great living dorm strictly for Freshman at High Point University. It is in a great location surrounded by many food options, a library, and close to classes. You recieve your own personal room in a apartment like living space. I have nothing but good things to say about Blessing Hall. more

My roommate and I were on the third floor and we had the most beautiful view of water fountains and flowers from our windows. We could see three water fountains from our room and the infinity garden sat just feet away from our building. We had a very clean dorm hall and bathrooms because the staff would come through and clean as well take the trash every morning around six o'clock. The staff was also very nice if you were to run into them in morning. It's a pretty quiet dorm hall except for the weekends which is expected at college. Rules are set for quiet hours and all followed for the most part. If there was a bit of commotion at night, a quick conversations with the girls would fix it. We were all understanding and considerate of one another. The girls in the hall were very sweet and became my friends throughout the year. It was an amazing dorm hall for my first year. more

North College Terrace

North College Terrace is a great place to live because it's quiet, clean, and very safe. Even though you're off-campus you still feel a part of the community. You get the experience of campus living but feel more independent because it's like you have your own apartment. I would recommend living in North College Terrace if you want to be on your own, but still get that campus vibe. more

Aldridge Village

I have lived in Aldridge Village for 2 months. I highly enjoy my suite-style dorm room. I do not experience much noise and the common areas are well-kept. One of my favorite parts of Aldridge Village is the restaurant, The Grille, which is in walking distance. The food there is amazing! more

Yadkin Hall

it isn't the nicest hall on campus and would not recommend if you are spending a lot for the college already I would splurge to get the better dorm rooms. This is an all girls dorm and I would have rather to be in coed to be with more kids and get to know more people. more

North Hall

it was nice the rooms were pretty big but I am not happy about community bathrooms. I like how the walls aren't very thin so you can have an actual conversation. the males guests though are very annoying you need to walk them everywhere and they cant walk freely. more

University Center

University Center is a beautiful building located within the heart of High Point University. I enjoy every day within the building because the jack and Jill style rooms encourage you to become friends with the people who live around you. This dorm is excellent for people who have trouble meeting new people because the structure itself encourages socialization. more

University Center II

When I got to the room for the first time I was blown away by how nice and big the room was. I was used to visiting all the other rooms from other universities that were smaller and more condensed, but when I went into the UC-2 rooms, it was like a nice hotel. The beds are queen-sized, the bathroom is huge, and the storage room is great. Overall this was a perfect room with great surroundings and storage room. more

Definitely a safe and fun place to live as a freshman in college. Most issues revolve around the cleanliness and respectfulness of others. The bathrooms/showers are disgusting because of girls and they do not clean the bathrooms often enough. more

Centennial Square 2

Centennial square two is a nice place to live in. I like how it feels like a house and you have a fully furnished kitchen, a bathroom for guests and a patio area. I love being able to live with my best friends and not have to worry about major noise complaints. I wish it was closer to academic buildings though. more

So far, Greek Village has been a great housing choice. Conveniently located on campus. I love living with my sorority sisters. There is so much common area room to spread out. I love having the ability to relax in the common area and not have to spend all my time in my room or at another location. Having a kitchen is also nice to have. more

Caffey Hall

Absolutely love it, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything was always perfectly clean. Each room has a private bedroom and bathroom. You couldn't enter the building unless you had your student ID which only works for your specific dorm building. more

York Hall

In York Hall, you have your own room in a suite with three other students. In the rooms, there are two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is for roommates A and B and another is for roommates C and D. I love living in York Hall. It is one of the best places on campus in my opinion. The rooms can sometimes seem small but since there is a living room in the suite and common areas outside the rooms there is always somewhere else you can go. more

Blessing Houses

Dorms are really a wonderful part of my college experience . I share a common area with 3 girls, and we enjoy cooking together. We share the bathrooms, but each have our own room, so its the best of both worlds. Living in a dorm has given me great independence, and I am learning to take care of myself, get my studying done, and have some fun with my roommates. Since I am an only child, the dorm has given me the experience of living with girls that are becoming like sisters. Its fun to have friends to talk to every day, but sometimes we do argue. Mostly about keeping the place clean! Blessing is very centrally located, so its easy to get to the cafe, or any classes. more

University Owned Houses

University owned houses was the best possible living arrangement on campus. It was great to be close by campus/on-campus while also staying away from the hustle and bustle of campus. The major downside was if a roommate moved out unexpectedly, there wasn't much of a choice in the university replacing that individual. more
